In this article, you'll learn how to setup a free Easy Post account for use in Zenventory.
Easy Post features/benefits:
- Access to a shared wallet with incredibly low rates for Fedex, Canada Post, USPS, DHL eCommerce, and DHL Express.
- A centralized dashboard to handle wallet funding either automatically or manually at any time.
- You'll link an ACH or credit card payment method that will be used to fund the wallet. This wallet balance will be used against shipments you create in Zenventory.
- Have your own carrier accounts? No problem, you can connect those as well.
- No Per Label fees.
Easy Post Account Setup (New to Zenventory Shipping)
- Navigate to the Orders>Ship Page. A modal will pop up in the center of your screen.
- Click on the "Create Account" button. This will open a new browser tab window and direct you to the new Easy Post account creation page. Follow the steps in the below screenshots to setup the account, setup your Easy Post wallet, connect to Easy Post carriers, and get your API KEY to finish the setup on the Zenventory side.
- Once you have grabbed your API KEY from your Easy Post account, then you'll enter it in the Zenventory pop up from step #1, check the box to agree to the Easy Post terms, and click the activate button.
Easy Post Account Setup (Already connected to Zenventory Shipping)
- Create a new Easy Post account by first following this link: New Easy Post Account.
- Follow the steps in the below screenshots of the Easy Post Account Creation section to create your account and get the API KEY value you will need in step #5 below.
- Navigate to Admin>System>Shipping>Shipping Engines and hit the "New Shipping Engine" button.
- Choose Easy Post from the drop down menu.
- Fill in your name, email, phone number and Easy Post Account API Key. Check the box to accept the Easy Post terms and hit Save.
